We stayed while driving between Michigan and Florida with our dog. Let me begin by saying every staff member we met was courteous and helpful. We had started in a snowstorm and were exhausted. The evening kick back was lovely as was breakfast. The real star of the show was the manager on duty. We had an issue with something in our room as we were leaving in the morning. The manager took full responsibility and was very helpful in a solution. Will book here again.

We stayed here recently on a long road trip. Best part of a Drury hotel is the nightly kick back. Though the food isn’t great it is just nice after a long drive to stop here and not have to figure out what we are getting to eat that night. The nightly food is just from 5:30-7:00 though. So only expect the food if you arrive during those times. We did enjoy the outdoor hot tub during our stay. Not to many budget hotels with lot tubs these days it seems. Would definitely stay here again

Excellent hotel as all Drurys are! Our room was large and new, with a large walk-in shower and a comfortable king bed. We enjoyed freshly popped popcorn, always ready at 4:00. The 5:30 FREE buffet dinner was delicious, and selection for the evening included bbq pulled pork sandwiches, mac and cheese, baked beans, salad, chicken noodle soup, coleslaw slaw, hot dogs, nachos and cheese sauce, soda, coffee and 3 alcoholic beverages each. The included breakfast buffet was wonderful as well. A fantastic deal for $130 plus taxes. You can't go wrong with a Drury. We base our travel routes on the availability of their hotels if possible.

This has been my place to stay the last few times Ive been in Valdosta. Its on an exit that has plenty of food choices, close to the mall, shopping and close enough to the interstate that I dont have to worry about fighting traffic to leave. The rooms are nice, clean and a good size. The breakfast is pretty decent, the staff is pretty awesome. Has a pool and hot tub as well. Wish the gym was a little better but no big deal.

The lady at the front desk was so kind and energetic! The room was clean. The food was great. The staff all so professional and nice. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the bathroom floors. The floors, tho clean, were so slick I thought I would fall more than once. Do not wear any socks on that floor!! Even barefoot you must step carefully! Their floors are a safety concern.

Our stay for one night…..clean spacious room, plenty of hot water, towels, etc. Kickback is a plus with adult beverages, hot food choices, popcorn for later too. Breakfast offerings were plentiful and fresh. Coffee was perfect strength and temperature. All hotel staff were friendly and courteous to us. Our room a/c was ornery and we mentioned this to the front desk at checkout. The manager was customer service oriented and provided us a very fair discount with no hesitation, and without our asking for such. Do not hesitate to book a room.

I stayed at Drury Plaza in Valdosta for the first time last month. (February.) I worked and retired for over twenty years in Hospitality and after reading and researching reviews I proceeded to reserve us a nice long stay. I told myself to enjoy this and not be a critic. Staff overall pleasurable, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and good sized. Nightly kick backs, drinks and popcorn was such a plus! Easy to just relax, go down and eat and drink with no cooking or cleaning up. The lobby has a huge TV and a large amount of seating for guests. The warm pool and hot tub were wonderful to go down to every day. Towels available so need no need to take your room towels. The lobby also has a decent sized snack area to purchase ice cream or sweet savory treats. No cash on you- just say put this on my room. My granddaughter loved this. Our only issue with the hotel in general are the rooms facing the front will be facing the afternoon hot South Georgia sun. So the air conditioner had a hard time keeping our room cool which is not good for tired grandkids. After I notified front desk staff of our hot room we were told they’ll let management know. I waited and after forty minutes I opened and propped open our door with a suitcase. And I turned on a small fan we brought with us. Cooler air flowed in through the door. We shut the drapes tight and waited. I called second time and told the same thing. But no one ever came to our room, no one called us. By dark the room cooled down and we went to sleep. I was never approached at all about this issue including when checking out and I mentioned to the front staff that this happened. I explained that we did have a good stay but our room a/c needs to be checked out. Few other issues with our stay but overall the nice clean rooms, wonderful breakfast and dinner 24-7 coffee and comfort of bedding for a good night sleep made it all worthwhile and I know we will use this hotel for our future quarterly stays. Overall it’s a very nice hotel. But staff should remember that communication is vital between them and their guests in order to ensure a great experience while visiting this hotel. And hopefully all guests will be pleased, will return and refer others. I tried to do the review Drury sent me and got a message saying the survey expired. When I went back to my email it says expire on March 11,2026. Today is March 6. So thus I couldn’t review through their link and decided to write this one on Google. For us: we will be returning in a few months for our next trip to Valdosta.

This is my second stay at this Drury - and it's AMAZING!! Very clean, staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast and evening kickbacks are such a bonus! (Not to mention the gym, pool and spa!!) Highly recommend this Hotel! (They do seem to be pet friendly, as I've seen quite a few dogs, however - they all seem to be VERY well behaved and I have never smelled any dog odors in the hotel - as it's kept very clean!) Kids seem to have a great time here as well - very spacious - lots of options for places to sit and relax and enjoy meals with your family.
